Woodhouse Eaves is at the heart of the Charnwood Forest in Leicestershire, close to Beacon Hill, where once existed an Iron Age settlement. From this summit there are splendid views of the surrounding countryside and the area is popular with hikers and walkers.

Hagley is an affluent area of Stourbridge in the Black Country, famous for its canal network, steam railways and glass industry. The area is rich in history, particularly that of Hagley Hall, the last great Palladian mansion in the country. It features lavish Rococo design so popular in the 1750s when the first Lord of Lyttelton had it commissioned.

Barnt Green is a picturesque village in the county of Worcestershire. Nearby are the spectacular Malvern Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Barnt Green also boasts a local sailing club for those missing the lure of the coast in the heart of the country.
